Born in Texas and residing for a time in Mexico and France, Victoria eventually returned to her home state and settled in Austin where she founded The Roof Lady, LLC in 1994. Her husband, a commercial contractor, was instrumental in teaching her the essentials of roofing. Victoria combined her passion for languages with her practical mindset and became an expert in the field.

Victoria built The Roof Lady into a thriving business primarily through referrals and repeat re-roofing projects. After 23 years in the roofing industry, Victoria passed off the reins to her son, Ellis as she has transitioned into retirement. Although she no longer manages the business, Victoria’s expertise can still be relied on by Ellis whenever the phrase “Keep Austin Weird” was applied to a customer’s current roof installation.

Ellis was born and raised in Austin and grew up enveloped in the construction industry with both of his parents running successful construction companies.

After working part time measuring roofs in the summers as a teenager, Ellis went on to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Construction Science and Management with a minor in Business Administration from Texas State University with the intention of continuing to provide the Austin area with the same exceptional roofing service Victoria had perfected over her career.

The Roof Lady has been in Ellis’ care since 2017 and the level of quality and commitment to customer satisfaction has never faltered.
